Marikina Doctors Hospital and Medical Center Inc. (MDHMC) held a ribbon cutting ceremony and blessing for their newly acquired equipment on August 25, 2022.
Among the new machines Fujifilm FDR Smart X, SkanMobile, DRYPIX Lite, and FDR SE Lite. This acquisition was made possible with DigiMed Medical Systems Inc., in partnership with Fujifilm Healthcare Philippines.

The new machines will provide a more high-tech approach to their diagnostic system. They will provide digitalized results for easier data storage and clearer readings, while maintaining minimal impact on patients. The equipment come with multi-function features, which will streamline the workflow process of the radiologists in the hospital, over-all improving the diagnostic services of MDHMC’s Radiology Department.
Mr. Buenaflor ended his remarks saying,

The actual ceremony was held in the X-Ray room, upper ground floor, Radiology Department of MDHMC, followed by a reception at the 3rd Floor Rehab Room. Among the attendees are some specialists in the field of Radiology including Dr. Joseph Benjamin Lu (Radiology Department Consultant, Interventional Radiologist), Dr. Jerome Mari Tan (Head Radiologist, Radiology Department), Ms. Joyce Villanueva (Chief Radiologic Technologist). Dr. Mary Rose Aimee Directo (Hospital Administrator), Dr. Rosario Lu (Head of Pediatrics Department, Corporate Treasurer, and Member of the Board of Directors), and Mr. Bon Fuertes (FUJIFILM Philippines Inc., Senior Sales Executive, Medical System & IT) was also present at the event. Aside from the notable medical experts, hospital staff including engineers, pharmacists, admins, and members of the MDHMC are amongst the audiences at the event.
MDHMC is a private hospital that was established by a group of specialist doctors in various fields of medicine and businessmen with extensive experience in hospital-building and management.
